At KFJ Bookings, we’ve spent over 10 years working within the events industry as professional performers and are now into our third year of successfully supplying professional entertainment through KFJ Bookings for events across the UK. One of the biggest mistakes we see is choosing entertainment before thinking about the atmosphere you want your event to have.
A village fete, Pride celebration, Christmas event, family fun day, corporate event and town festival all require different styles of entertainment, even if some of the performers are similar.

Book Earlier Than You Think
Different entertainment becomes busy at different times of year.
Throughout the summer, popular acts such as Stilt Walkers, Circus Skills Workshops and Giant Bubble Performers are regularly booked well in advance for festivals, community events, corporate events and family fun days.
For Christmas events, we’d always recommend beginning conversations during the first half of the year wherever possible. The earlier you begin planning, the greater your choice of performers and available dates.
Halloween is another increasingly busy period, with professional Face Painters and Fire Performers often being booked three to six months in advance.
